Alstonville Steel was established over 25 years ago, Steve Kennedy the current owner and Managing Director joined the company in 1990 becoming a partner in 2003 then taking control of the company in 2007.
The company was initially based around structural steel manufacturing, but gradually over the years with the vast growth of Macadamia producers in the area a close association within the Macadamia industry developed.
The company began designing and building a range of processing and drying equipment for not only Macadamia nuts but also Pecans, Walnuts and Cashew.
Alstonville Steel now manufactures a wide range of equipment, and do maintenance and service work for smaller farms just starting out through to our largest processors throughout Australia .
The company has also developed a strong export market distributing their finished product to China, Thailand, New Zealand and Hawaii .
